Ladies and Gentlemen,
 
Today, we had a visitor from Calgary, Alberta, Kimberly Lysak.  We also had an interesting program about the construction of oil pipelines in California in the early 1900’s by Jack Spaulding, a Union Oil retiree.
 
Other highlights include:
  1. Golf meeting tonight (Feb 11) at 5:30 at Simons’ barn.
  2. Al gave an update on the third grade readers – he hopes to be able to distribute them before April
  3. The Poker Run to fight Polio is this coming Sunday, February 15, starting at the Dana Adobe.  Registration between 9 and 10 AM
  4. Next week we will be dark on Wednesday morning.
  5. We will have our Dining Out on Tuesday evening at 6:00 at the Rock N Roll Diner in Oceano, followed by dessert at Sean’s.

  7. Bowling with Interact is on Friday, February 20 at 5:30 at the Rancho Bowl
  8. Contact Jeremy to help set up our display at the library on Saturday, February 28 from 9 – 10 AM
  9. Cees is organizing a blood drive in the Miner’s parking lot on February 26.
