Ladies and Gentlemen,
Today, we had a visitor from Calgary, Alberta, Kimberly Lysak. We also had an interesting program about the construction of oil pipelines in California in the early 1900’s by Jack Spaulding, a Union Oil retiree.
Other highlights include:
- Golf meeting tonight (Feb 11) at 5:30 at Simons’ barn.
- Al gave an update on the third grade readers – he hopes to be able to distribute them before April
- The Poker Run to fight Polio is this coming Sunday, February 15, starting at the Dana Adobe. Registration between 9 and 10 AM
- Next week we will be dark on Wednesday morning.
- We will have our Dining Out on Tuesday evening at 6:00 at the Rock N Roll Diner in Oceano, followed by dessert at Sean’s.
- Next week we will be dark on Wednesday morning.
- Bowling with Interact is on Friday, February 20 at 5:30 at the Rancho Bowl
- Contact Jeremy to help set up our display at the library on Saturday, February 28 from 9 – 10 AM
- Cees is organizing a blood drive in the Miner’s parking lot on February 26.
- Next week we will be dark on Wednesday morning.
- In two weeks, don’t miss our program: Sheriff’s Deputy Josh Fisher and his drug dog, Dutch.
