Ladies and Gentlemen –

A lot to report on:

  1. Bill Bettencourt gave us a wonderful program about growing up in Arroyo Grande, and what the 5-cities area was like in the 40’s and 50’s.
  2. Alice Ricker has the fine free coffee mug – we are still looking for the fine free shackles – if anyone has them, please return them to Bill Pucciarelli.
  3. Roller Derby on November 22.  First game at 5 PM, second game at 7 PM at the Santa Maria Fairpark.
  4. Next week’s Veterans Day program will feature Korean War Veterans
  5. Thanks to everyone who helped out on election day at the polling place
  6. We will not have our regular meeting on November 19.  Jeremy is coordinating our Dining Out that evening.  Details to follow.
  7. Community Thanksgiving Dinner on November 23 – Ken and Jim need help at 6 AM and at 9 AM at Nipomo High School
  8. No program on November 26 – we will eat breakfast, pay some fines, and head out to Pismo Beach Veterans Hall to pull turkey
  9. Christmas Parade of Lights on December 6 – see Joyce to sign up to help – we need volunteers!
  10. Christmas Party at Richard and Bonita Dale’s house on December 13 at 6 PM
  11. Kids Christmas party will be the program at our meeting on December 17
  12. Tree Planting in the park on December 31.
  13. Save the date for a potential trip to Cal Poly on January 17 for the Polio Plus women’s basketball game.  Judy will have details soon.

We will be dark on December 24 and December 31.  Please help with tree planting on Dec 31.
