Ladies and Gentlemen –

Our meeting was kind of lightly attended this morning.  Thanks to everyone who attended, and I encourage you to bring guests!  I know that some of our members are out of town, and tax season is upon us!

We had a very informative talk this morning by Jim Hogeboom, the Lucia Mar Unified School District Superintendent.  He spoke about the budget situation.  I have attached some information that he discussed.

In addition,
  1. George was the winning bidder for the Fine Free Coffee Mug – thanks, George
  2. Bill P. stated that there will not be a golf meeting this Monday.  There will be one on Monday April 6.  We need more bottles of beer and bottles of wine.
  3. Rich is moving forward with the 4-Way Test Essay Contest.  Thanks to Rich.
  4. The Paul Harris Awards Dinner is scheduled for May 13.  Cocktails at 5:30, dinner at 6:00.  We will be dark that morning.
  5. The Public Service Awards Dinner is scheduled for May 20.  We will be dark that morning.
  6. Thompson Road cleanup is scheduled for Saturday, April 11 at 8:00 AM.
  7. A Ford Tri-Motor Airplane will be in SLO from April 17 – 20.
  8. Next week’s program will be Will Meyst, talking about The Dunites.  Should be very interesting.

Thanks for all of your service,

James O. Anderson
