  • Ensure assigned projects to improve the State Highway System are delivered and completed in accordance with their individual approved scopes, schedules and budgets.   Elevate major issues to the District 5 Deputy of Project Management when necessary.

  • Preformed engineering work involving plans, design, and details of the State Highway System.  Used innovative design processes, produce complex calculations, specifications, and review work prepared by others.   Provide technical guidance while designs are being developed.  

Lecturer | CALIFORNIA Polytechnic State University – San Luis Obispo | March 2015 to June 2015

  • Instructed CE 422 Highway Geometrics and Design course lab section within the University’s Civil and Environmental Engineering Department. 

Projects

  • Mud Creek Emergency Project – Coordinated efforts to respond to 5.5 million cubic yard landslide on the Big Sur coast.  Lead multifunctional team in analyzing the scope and appropriate solution to reopen State Route 1 in a safe, economic and efficient manner.  
  • Cow Cliffs Viaduct – Developed project to restore full access to Route 1 near Big Sur as a result of erosion beneath the highway.
