Ladies and Gentlemen –
 
We had a really special meeting this morning to recognize Veterans Day.  Jim Murphy, George Protopapas, Jim Schuller and our own Phil Henry each briefly talked about interesting aspects of their service during the Korean War.  There were also Viet Nam veterans and GWOT veterans present as well.
 
Looking forward,
 
  1. Next week, we will not have our usual Wednesday morning meeting.  We will have our quarterly “Dining Out” on Tuesday, November 18 at 6:00 PM at Ranch Nipomo Barbecue, 108 Cuyama Lane, Nipomo, CA.
  2. November 22 is our outing to the Roller Derby at the Santa Maria Fairpark.  Games at 5:00 PM and 7:00 PM.
  3. November 23 (Sunday) is the Annual Nipomo Community Thanksgiving Dinner – Ken Whittle and Jim Harrison can use your help at Nipomo High School at 6:00 AM and again at 9:30 AM.
  4. At the November 26 regular meeting, there will be no program – following breakfast, we will go to the Pismo Beach Veterans Hall to pull turkey.
  5. The Christmas Parade of Lights is on December 6 – please sign up to help with Joyce.
  6. The Rotary Club of Nipomo Christmas Party is on December 13 at 6:00 PM at Richard Dale’s house.  Bring an hors d’oeuvre.
  7. The Kids Christmas Party is at our regular meeting on December 17.
  8. We are dark on Christmas Eve (December 24)
  9. We are dark on New Years Eve (December 31) – please go to Nipomo Regional Park to help plant trees!
