Rotary District Award Luncheon

Ladies and Gentlemen –
 
The Rotary District 5240 District Governor Step Down and District Awards Luncheon was held today.  Thanks to Colette, Kat, George and Mary for attending with me, and thanks to Judy for doing most of the work preparing the award documents for submittal to District earlier this year.
 
Congratulations to you, the members of our wonderful club for your hard work and service that was recognized at the District this year.
 
The Rotary Club of Nipomo received the following awards:
 
  1. Best Small Club in the Avenue of Service:  International Service
  2. Best Small Club in the Avenue of Service:  Community Service
  3. Designation as a Gold Club (the highest designation)
  4. Presidential Citation RI President Gary C. K. Huang for actively working to “Light Up Rotary”
 
What a successful year of service we have had!
