Past Wednesday's Meeting

Ladies and Gentlemen –
 
Last Wednesday, we had a very interesting presentation by Emma Schoppe, the County’s Energy Program Associate.  The topic was empower Central Coast.  This is a program coordinated by the County to help residents upgrade their single-family homes to be more energy efficient.  They provide information about certified contractors, utility rebates, and even financing through Coast Hills Federal Credit Union.  (Cathy has already been appropriately fined.)  empower@co.slo.ca.us
 
In other news,
 
  1. We will be dark next Wednesday morning, as we have our Paul Harris Awards Dinner Wednesday evening.  Social at 5:30, dinner at 6:00.
  2. We will be dark the following Wednesday, May 20, as we have our Public Service Awards dinner that evening.  Social at 5:30, dinner at 6.
  3. The next board meeting will be on May 18 at 5:30 at Socorro’s house
  4. The Four Way Test Essay contest winners will be at the June 3 regular meeting
  5. Scholarships will be presented at the June 10 meeting
  6. Your President’s Step Down will be at Socorro’s on June 14 at 1:00 PM
  7. District Governors Loretta’s Step Down and Club Awards will be on June 27 at 11:00 AM at the Radisson in Santa Maria.
