Food Bank Coalition of San Luis Obispo County

Kevin Drabinski has served as the CEO of the Food Bank Coalition of San Luis Obispo County since Valentine’s Day 2017. During 2017, the Food Bank delivered 5 million pounds of food to the one in six persons in our county who have limited or uncertain ability to acquire nutritionally adequate and safe food. Fully half of the food distributed was produce. Some 40% of the food distributed went to children while 20% went to seniors.

The strength of the Food Bank lies in being a coalition. It serves as the primary source of food for 94 agency partners throughout the county who help in our mission to alleviate hunger and build a healthier community.

The Food Bank moved into its new warehouse across from the airport in San Luis Obispo in November 2016, and it is from this location that the needs of those who hunger will be met for the next generation.

Kevin is a 30 year resident of San Luis Obispo where he and his wife raised their two loving daughters.
